Cancellation Policy for Events

If the cancellation request is between 8 and 21 days of an event, no refund will be given, however attendees can transfer to another event, availability permitting. If no events are immediately available, a credit will be issued to your account.

 

If the cancellation request is within 7 days of an event, there is no offer of a refund or the option to transfer to another event.

Every effort is made to hold 'Little Something' Dating Nights at the dates, times and locations specified on my website. The organiser reserves the right to cancel and/or change event dates, times and locations. Something Special try and ensure an even amount of both men and women for our events - if there is not an even split, the event age range may change to accommodate those attending, be postponed to a later date or both with an option to transfer your ticket to another event. In the event that circumstances dictate that a night must be postponed or cancelled, you will be offered a transfer to another 'Little Something' Dating Night of your choice at no additional charge to you. Please note that no additional compensation will be paid. In the case that industrial disputes can arise which do affect my events including travel and transport of attendees i.e. tube strikes which are beyond my control, places are non refundable and free transfers apply only.

In the event of a dating night being postponed/ cancelled, refunds are not provided but a credit will be applied to your account for a future dating night. If your night is postponed/ cancelled again, a refund can be issued minus the online booking fee of £1.

In the event of a dating night being cancelled with no alternative night for your age to transfer to, a credit on your account for a future dating night or a refund can be issued minus external credit card fees of £1 with Something Special (fees may be more with external ticket sellers such as Billetto, Eventbrite, Skiddle & Ticketsource).

If you have received a complimentary (or free) ticket to attend one of our Dating Nights as part of a promotion or offer with Membership, these cancellation rules still apply.  If you cancel with more than 7 days notice, the organiser is happy to transfer your complimentary ticket to another event. If you cancel your ticket less than 7 days before an event, your ticket is non-transferable and your complimentary ticket will be deleted.

If you cancel your ticket and an event goes on to be cancelled or postponed, these rules still apply.

If in the unusual event that an evening is cancelled within 3 hours of the event taking place then the organiser will not accept any responsibility for unassociated costs incurred by the client.

Important Update About Postponed or Canceled Events

In the unlikely event that I need to postpone or cancel an event, I will send an email with the available options by 10 am the day before the scheduled event. Please check your emails (including your spam folder) after 10 am for further instructions. The following options will be provided to you:

1. You may be offered the option to attend the same venue on the night for dinner (if the venue offers dinner) with other attendees booked on. Please note that this will become a singles dinner, not a dating night, and the group may be mixed or single-sex, depending on the attendees. You will receive a coupon code worth 50% of your paid ticket price, redeemable against a future dating night. (Please note, Jules will not attend the dinners).
    

2. If the venue does not offer dinner, or if you prefer not to attend for dinner, you will receive a coupon code for the full value of your ticket, which can be used to rebook once you are able to confirm your availability for the postponed event or for another future dating night.
    

These options are designed to give you flexibility to rebook either for the postponed event or another future event, and they apply to all ticket types, including paid tickets and those obtained through promotions or Takes Two.
