I have been to a few speed dating events in London lately but this was a major step up in quality. Everyone who was supposed to show up did so on a rainy night (rather than the normal 20%ish dropout rate). On arrival, I received a personalised sheet with all the names of the ladies preprinted. Although, arriving before the event started, I showed up later than requested by Jules. However, she still greeted me as if I was a friend she hadn’t met before, as she also did with everyone else. She explained to us individually exactly how it all worked and also persuaded most of us to stay on chatting after the formal part was over. This personalised level of attention before, during and after the night is how these things should be done. I’d give a sixth star if I could!
